Hi Lamar
I have just seen on another forum a question about JKD techniques. In your opinion does JKD have techniques?
regards
Martin

JKD Techniques

May 10 2006, 7:16 AM

Hello Martin!

Yes, I feel that there are DEFINITELY Jeet Kune Do techniques! If not, what have we been teaching all of these years! How could it even exist if there were not techniques specific to it! I mean, we have the bai jong to start with. Then we have footwork, specific defensive movements, specific techniques for attack with the hands and feet, energy/sensitivity drills, trapping hands and the list goes on! If not for these things, Jeet Kune Do could not exist as an art, but only a set of theories and principles! But then, without the techniques specifically designed to follow these theories and principles, without the vehicle to put them into effect, they would be more or less useless! I hope this makes sense to you!

Keep Blasting!

Sorry guys, I think Steve Golden took over my mind in that last post. That is his 7th way of attack (6th is attack by luck) - 7th way of attack is ABMC (Attack by mind control).

He's good at that.
