Looking for New Supplier!

May 16 2006, 12:18 AM

Hello Curtis!

I am currently looking for a new supplier for mook jongs! I do build them, and they are quite nice, but I don't often have time to devote to building dummies! I have four in my kwoon right now. I normally sell them for $400.00 plus shipping, but I am planning to sell two of the dummies in my kwoon for $300.00 plus shipping each since they are slightly used! Let me know if you are interested in one of them!

Mook Jongs

May 16 2006, 11:25 AM

Hello Curtis!

Ironically, Immortal is the company that I will probably go with as the official mook jong supplier for the HJKDCGFA. I am well acquainted with the owner, and will be discussing this with him in detail over the next few days! Watch for a big announcement here if a decision is reached!

Crane Mook Jong

May 18 2006, 7:28 AM

Hello Peer!

It looks very nice! If I were them, though, I think I would have used a picture of one where the center arm was perfectly centered! I am already involved in negotiations with the owner of Immortal USA to produce an official "Hardcore Jeet Kune Do Mook Jong", so we'll see what happens with that! His JKD dummy is very nice, and even closer to Bruce Lee's actual dummy than the Great Lion dummy was. I ordered the book on Wong Shun Leung from the Crane company. If you can get your hands on it, by all means do! It is an excellent book!

Lama, I thank you man :)

May 18 2006, 7:10 PM

Thank you for your reply Lama

By the way, I hope you do not mind me asking, but what do you think about the high pricing - US$1,600 - for this Crane's Wooden Dummy ?

What I really like about this dummy is the really beautiful and solid teak wood they have used and the solid stand.

Price ... YIKES!!!! :-)

May 18 2006, 11:10 PM

Hello Peer!

Yes, the price is a bit high! I guess they are very proud of their mook jongs! And to think, I have been building and selling mook jongs for years for only $400.00! Guess I need to raise my prices if I plan to keep building and selling them!
