To generate power behind your kicks, you must rotate your hips and your rear foot fully, other wise you will not have any power behind your non telegraphic kicks, they will be very weak and sloppy no matter how well you execute the kick, A JKD kicks might look good and none telegraphic, but the key is how much power you can generate in such a short or long distance without having to telegraph your kicks. The kicks should be executed simultaneously with the hips to generate full power. “You have to put your hip into it and snap it and let all your energy behind it”
