Lamar I can’t believe that would remove Steve’s and my post from the forum, The man has a great sense of humor and from all people you should know better, We were just having fun we all adults I don’t think what we said was that bad kids and everyone heard ten time worst stuff than that, Steve might not care but I did I am very sorry that you felt that we were out of line by saying very minor stuff ,preserving the art of Bruce lee has nothing to do with this ,but removing a post that Steve wrote I think is very disrespectful to the art and to all who believe in it

I am the one that posted the topic that got it started and I am sorry that I did. I meant for it to be a true discussion and to see how many people thought that the "musical" was a good idea and if if would work or not. I agree with Sifu Lamar taking it down due to fact that we (the hardcore members) want this "public" forum to reflect better on us and the art of JKD. With some of what I read it kind of makes us look like wannabe's that like to bash. My opinion is that someone who truely follows the martial way will uphold themselves and their art to the highest degree. Again my opinion.

I just don't get it George. You bash someone that is trying to set a morale standard for themselves or forum. Read Bruce Lee's comment on the martial way. It can be applied to everyday living as well. No there is no true peace or comfort in this world except through Jesus... if someone doesn't like it tough this is my opinion. If there were peace and comfort in this world there would be no martial arts or styles or boundaries for that matter. But this is the real world. Hope for the best and prepare (not expect) for the worse. We should hold ourselves to a high standard in morales, Living, teaching and training. When you train someone do you set a sloppy standard for them to follow. I hope you don't. If during class I let myself become sloppy in a drill Sifu Davis will quickly let me know and to correct myself. That is what he did with removing the post(s). I am sorry that you don't get that.

How did I attack you? i was defending myself from your blatant attack on my standards. if you felt that the original poster post was directed against you then you sir have a guilty conscience. It was directed towards not just one person but to all of us... me included. I to will hit with emotion in a fight it to will not be love or peace. I have not met you and really don't know you nor do you really know me so why don't we do like Sifu Lamar suggests be men and drop this subject?

Rules are rules! I keep this forum clean, which means no foul language ... PERIOD! That's all there is to it! The problem with the whole post was that it was degenerating rapidly! I decided to just eliminate all of it, as it really had nothing to do with what we do anyway! Sorry you don't agree, but that is the way it is! There are plenty of forums out there where you can say pretty much anything you want to! I refuse to allow mine to become that way! I have just as much respect for Steve Golden as anyone, and this has nothing to do with that! It's just a simple matter of keeping it CLEAN, which should be easy enough for ANYONE to understand!

Steve was allowed to defend himself! Anyone who saw the post knew that Steve stated that Inside Kung Fu had lied in their article! But then the WHOLE THREAD was removed, so there was once again NOTHING for anyone to have to defend or even comment on! That is the point was trying to make! The whole thing was deleted, so it became as if the post NEVER EXISTED in the first place!
