I just checked out the website and read Shannon Lee Keasler's interview in Black Belt. What are your thoughts on this? Are you going to participate in it and get "certified" by them as an official instructor? Some of their upcoming seminars look interesting also!
At this point I can't honestly say what I will do! My certification from five original First Generation students is good enough for me whether they recognize me or not! Now, if they approach me, asking for my help or assistance, that is another situation all together! As you know, I am all for anything that is devoted to preserving and promoting Bruce Lee's original teachings! On the other hand, I am not a butt kisser, nor have I ever been, so if that is what it takes to be involved ... FORGET IT! I guess only time will tell what the future holds! Either way, we will just keep on doing what we have been doing! We have always been the REAL THING, and we will continue to be the REAL THING!

Well I think they should recognize you from the start! You are, in my opinion, the best second generation instructor and are certainly the REAL THING! Of course I must say I am interested in some of the seminars they are planning with some of the original students. Do you plan to host any more any time soon?
Yes Lamar, you should definitely pursue it man you deserve it. I am going to try my best to be part of it, I have never been certified by anyone, I was never been giving the chance. After 30 years, hopefully this will be my turn. This cert will mean so to me. God’s willing I will get it.
I will not kiss ass for it but I will kiss the cert. LOL
When you got your cert in Vegas I was there, I was jealous, but I was very happy for you, because I knew you deserved it.
P. S, I was going to wait for you at the lobby and fight you for it or even snatch it from you and run.
Thank you for the kind words! But, like I said, I will just have to wait and see what happens! If they handle this right, I will fully support their efforts. Maybe this attempt will fly where the previous organization failed! Either way, as I already said, I'll be right here keepin' on keepin' on!

I agree.....I will have to waite to see, but I will fully support an effort to help keep the original principles alive....I also believe that the BLF should fully back and/or support the guys that have Certificates already from OBLS....
I noticed they didn't list any of the John Little books on Bruce Lee. On the one hand I can understand that due to the falling out. On the other hand that seems "shallow". Even if you have a falling out with someone, good material is good material. Anyway, I wish the BLEF the best.
