Bruce Lee and Cerebral PalsyJune 5 2007 at 10:50 PM | Alex S. (no login) from IP address 205.188.116.201 |
| Hey everyone!
I was on the Bruce Lee foundation website the other day and I read that he was active in raising awareness about Cerebral Palsy.
I have cerebral palsy, so i was like WHOA!!!! Bruce Lee just gets cooler and cooler every second!
does anybody know if Bruce or any of his students taught JKD to anyone with CP?
I dont really expect you guys to know the EXACT answer to my next question because you're not Doctors, but i figure since JKD involves so much stuff about human anatomy, close enuff.
Does having CP mean it will take me Exponentially longer to learn JKD? It already makes learning Wing Chun that much more frustrating. |

I don't know myself if Bruce taught anybody with CP, but if he didn't, I don't know why you shouldn't be the first JKD practioner with CP.
I don't know what your physical limitations are, but I am sure you might find techniques that you might excel at, or ones you would have to discard for yourself. The important thing is, you give it a try. |
