Will Figgins was my representative, but he moved first up to Northern California, and then to Ohio, so that left me without a rep in Cali. My mother-in-law lives in San Diego, so my wife and I will be visiting there occasionally, but since Will moved away I have no one to sponsor seminars for me! Do you know anyone who would be interested in becoming my rep and sponsoring seminars for me?

Unfortunately, no, I do not know of anyone. I was hoping there'd be someone around here that I myself could learn from, as I am starting college here in September, so that leaves me another 4 years without an instructor! Pretty frustrating, but I'm starting to save up some money to stock up on JKD educational materials.

I live in California now! Wei Lin, if you want to come up when you have free time, just say the word. I only teach on a private basis now, so that might work out better for you. I am located up near Lompoc (50 miles North of Santa Barbara). But if that is too far I understand. Let me know!

I really wish I could go train with you! But it unfortunately, is too far. Darn now I feel maybe I should have accepted UC Santa Barbara's offer to go to college there!!!

But it's good to know that someone in S. Cali is around so maybe in the future.

Wei Lin, I'm located in Alhambra, CA that's roughly five to 10 miles from USC. There's a group in LA Chinatown I train with. Train on Sundays at 10am

Hm...that is a lot closer! Is it the group with Mark Stewart?

And if it is, do you know if Rick Gonzales is good? Cuz I just looked on Mark Stewarts site and found him, and Rick is located in Diamond Bar, much closer to where I live.

And looking at the schedule I'm almost sure that it is the group I'm thinking of cuz they train Sundays at 10 too.

So, if it is, did you know a Ryan Quon?

Yeah, that's the Mark Stewart Group alright! Rick's good, he's been at it for almost seven to eight years. Ryan Quon, I know of him, only came across him twice since he's always MIA in Chinatown. Rick and I train when we can. But you should go to the Chinatown location because the instructor Mark left in charge is pretty good himself too.

I wasn't leaving you out intentionally, I just know that you are only there for a little while before you move back to Alabama. I didn't know if you really wanted to get involved teaching anyone, only to have to leave them without an instructor when you go!
