Just wanted to post results from last nights fight.Team JKD had three entrants into southern toughman contest in Cleveland Alabama.There was a field of sixty fighters divided into three weight classes.From our three fighters two of them,Coley sanford and Juan Zapata each won all three of their previous fights to compete for the lightweight championship.
I was both proud and nervous as both of our fighters in the lightweight division had to face off for the championship.After a very technical fight, Juan Zapata won by submission choke.
In the Middleweight division Susuki Zapata won all three of his fights to advance and win the middleweight championship.
I was grinning from ear to ear when Susuki used LIn sil di dar in two of his fights to frustrate his opponnets striking. Our record was 11 and 1 in all fights with our only loss coming from one of our own.
There were some very good fighters from all over the southeast lastnight and I can't tell you how many positive comments we got from many of the other fighters.
Hardcore JKD was well represented last night.I will post some pics in a day or two.

Congrats! Great to hear JKD being effective in the ring (or cage) as well as on the streets.
