I was wondering if there is any such thing as a lowline inner pak sao. Say if the opponent punches to your midsection with thier left hand (lead) and you use a lead goang sao (right lead) to parry their punch. I know it is far more practical to use lin sil die dar, but I'm just curious about that particular reference point (even though it is not a common one). I'm thinking that from that position, you can use an inner pak sao with the left hand while you hinge a backfist. Is that something practical from that engagement or is there something else?

Yes, it is definitely possible to do that! Like you said, however, the only bad thing is that it occurs in three beats instead of one (goang sao - ouy ha pak sao - Qua Chuie) rather than the lin sil die dar variation, which is one beat (ouy ha pak da). You could make it better by executing a rear straight punch with the goang sao, making it goang da. That would still allow you to hit on the first beat!
