His fundamentals seem sound, but it seems different from what we are taught. His guard hand seems to be clenched in a fist a lot, which some consider a telegraph, and one of his strikes seem to come hand up from the tan sao. Upside down bil jee?

Hello Erich!

That is the inverted bil jee! We use that on occasion, and it is simply because the hand is already formed, so why not just slide right into the eyes or throat!

That guys an ex student of Tommy Carruthers. My good friend Craig Coleman who is also an ex student of Tommy, an ex full instructor to be precise, tells me Mr Jenkins is a real nice guy.
