hi sifu! have seen your posts on tommy carruthers site and decided to check your site. good and very informative original jkd site. glad to see a site where the teacher answers straight,no foul language and with respect... if u know what i mean...anyways id like to ask your advise, why is it in streetfights or selfdefense situations kicks are much harder to excecute than punches? specially when adrenaline starts pumping? in class i can perform kicks normally with speed,power and accuracy but when fights erupt it tends to get so sloppy. but punches seems to work much better. can you please advice drills to overcome this. thanks ps. been training in jkd for past 10 yrs. and boxing using strong side/vertical fist forward with great results. jkd practitioners here in the Philippines says hi to you!
