Well, the Hardcore Jeet Kune Do Summer Camp starts tomorrow night! We have an exciting weekend coming up, with the opening of my new training facility in Oneonta, Alabama. Here is the schedule:
Friday Night (3rd) - 7:00 to 9:00
Saturday (4th) - 1:00 to 5:00
Saturday Night - Dinner (8:00 at The Dragon Chinese Restaurant in Birmingham)
Sunday (5th) - 11:00 to 3:00
Although the retail area at the new kwoon will not be completely stocked, I will have quite a bit of merchandise available, including some new shirts that I will be picking up Friday afternoon. All of my instructional DVDs will be available, and if anyone wants to email in advance with your DVD request, I can have them ready for you to pick up at the event! Bring some extra cash with you in case there is anything you want to pick up while you are here.
Bring all of your equipment (headgear, boxing gloves, shinguards) as you will definitely be needing it this weekend. We will be going through quite a range of combat oriented drills, and the equipment will go a long way toward assisting with your "self-preservation" as well as "partner preservation".
I hope to see as many of you as possible at the training camp, and you can be looking forward to training in the new location! I have been working on it every day, and it is really looking good!
