Hello Everyone!
A definite decision has been made! I have decided to close the Homewood Academy at the end of this month. Friday, August 31st will be the last class there. Starting in September, all classes and events will be held at the Oneonta location. As you probably know by now, we have DOUBLED the size of the Oneonta kwoon, making it over 5,000 square feet! Classes will be on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights from 7:30 to 9:00. Friday night classes are based on my availability. As most of you know, sometimes I have seminars that require travel, and I normally leave on Friday. The fee for training there will be $80.00 per month, with an initial membership and enrollment fee of $50.00. If you are already training with me, there is no initial fee! The $80.00 per month fee covers Tuesday and Thursday night classes. Friday nights are no extra charge when available, which will be most of the time! In other words, I am offering you MORE for LESS! You can't beat that!
I am working on the Oneonta kwoon everyday, and it is getting more awesome by the day! I added a brand new 70 pound Century heavy bag yesterday. By Wednesday afternoon, there will be four more heavy bags added. There is no telling what all will be added by the time all classes start there! September 4th is my deadline for completing the training area. Of course, even then, it will be a work in progress, as I will always be coming up with more equipment designs, adding more and more equipment as I go! Also, consider this ... even with TONS of training equipment in the equipment room, the classroom area will still be wide open training space (nearly 2,000 square feet) for classes, seminars, training camps and Instructor's Conferences! There are also 24 focus gloves and three kicking shields in the classroom, all stored on recessed shelves that take up no training space at all!
The world's best (and possibly largest) Jeet Kune Do Academy is nearly finished, and it is located at 205 2nd Avenue East in Oneonta, Alabama! Get ready to train and train hard! We definitely have the space and the equipment for it! I look forward to working with all of you there! It's going to be AWESOME!
