3 Arm door way system. Question?

While trying to install my new system, I cannot figure out how the silver bars go through the body of the system. The silver bars have end caps that I can't take off, and will not go in to the hole because the holes are to small. So I have two bars that cannot support the body. Robert

Hi Robert!

The larger diameter bar unscrews from the smaller diameter bar! Unscrew it all the way, put the larger diameter bar through the holes in the base, then slide the smaller diameter bar back into the larger diameter bar and screw them back together. It takes a while to unscrew, so just be patient! That is also how you adjust the width for various size doorframes! Hope that clears it up!
