Im guessing because the moon is not a star, while the sun is, because you will land on the stars I believe..... DUNNO man I FEEL LIKE IM ON WHOS SMARTER THAN A 5TH Grader. LOL

I meant too add, why Bruce lee often spoke about this? A finger pointing away too the moon? and why not the sun?

Because the only time you can look at the "heavenly glory" of the sun is at sunrise or sunset... that is the only time it's dim enough and it only last for a couple of minutes.

the moon by comparison can be looked at anytime it's up!

I would say that because the moon is visible at night, and at night you can see all of the "heavenly glory"! In the daytime, it is just the plain old "sky"! Also, he wouldn't have said, "It is like a finger pointing away to the sun. If you stare at the sun, you will be blind, so you'd better concentrate on that finger!"

its interesting what bruce would say about a ecplipes of the sun, is this were the moon covers the sun? mayb what im trying too get at is bruce always spoke of the moon in the water and all, Im curious what this meant for him and how, if it did. have any bearing on how he became such a good martial artist and the level he attained?
