A great Wallbag tip

I just hung a Wallbag by screwing a 2x4 into the wall and then hanging the bag (fastening only the Top edge) to the 2x4. This allows the bag to move when hit (depending upon how full the bag is).

This makes it PERFECT for practicing Finger Jabs.

Another tip...

Finger Jabs work better when the bag isn't filled with Sand.
I have Mung Beans in mine (the standard for beginner Iron Palm training) and it is filled about 2/3.

At the risk of sounding a bit dim, am I right in saying you hang the bag the same way you hang paper for the finger jab exercise?

Helo Declan!

For the fingerjab target, you first bolt a 2" x 4" to the wall (as long as you need it to be based on how many bags you are hanging) at the height of where you want the bolts at the top of your bag to be. The striking surface of the bag should be about face height. Then fill the bag to your liking with dried beans, etc. and bolt it to the 2' x 4". It is best to measure and pre-drill the holes. If the bag is not overly full, this allows a little bit of play between the bag and the wall, allowing you to safely practice the perfect degree of penetration for the bil jee.
