I just wanted to take a moment to wish each and every one of you a Happy New Year! I know that the coming year will bring many great things! I have a new kwoon opening on January 5th, and needless to say, I am extremely excited about that! With the founding of the International Wing Chun/Jeet Kune Do Alliance, Sifu Tony Massengill and I are going to bring you many great events and products! DragonBlast will launch soon, and a full line of handmade martial arts equipment specially designed for Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do practitioners will be available for order. Happy New Year! Really looking forward to training in the new kwoon this New Year. It will be great to have it closer. I also look forward to attending class more often! Can't wait to see the new place. I hope to see a lot of people I haven't trained with in a while. Happy New Year to the whole HCJKD family!

Hello Erich!

Things are looking good for the new kwoon! Old students are coming back! New students are ready to get started! It looks like we will start off with a full classroom! Fortunately, we have an entire gymnastics floor for our use anytime we want to use it, or if there are too many students for the classroom! This is going to be simply AWESOME! I was there working yesterday and today. I will be there tomorrow afternoon/evening and all day Friday working. Time to open the paint cans tomorrow! Saturday and Monday I will be there putting the finishing touches on it, getting ready to open Monday night. Things are shaping up nicely. Right now I have to get out of here. I have to go work at the club all night long! Should be an eventful night! I can't remember a New Year's Eve where I was Head of Security at a nightclub that we didn't have several fights! Nancy is going with me for the first time. At least we will be together this time when it officially turns 2009! Have a safe evening! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
