I just read a post on the Paul Bax Jeet Kune Do forum about somone discouraging their students from attending the Wong/Glover Seminar that Bax is sponsoring. I do not care what those who train with me do when it comes to things like that! In fact, I can understand the desire to spend time with First Generation students of Bruce Lee! We don't know how much longer they will be with us. The only thing that I expect from my guys is honesty! I will probably not be going because of the expense involved (and my job at the club), but if some of you want to go, and can afford to do so, then by all means, GO! If something changes and I can go, then I will!

I really wanted to go and if I can pull it off, I still may. Sifu is very open if you tell him what you are doing and that is only right. Sifu is aware that I go to other places in my city to train, but I tell him about it. I also make all the effort I can to do things, the way Sifu wants when I am training with him.

If information is conflicting, then defer to whoevers time you are on and their kwoon. Just like respecting someone's home is the way I look at it. If I don't make this, I hope to see him Mr. Glover later in the year.

Anytime you can see any of the OBLs you should. Herb Jackson's passing was a wake up call. Bob Bremer's health is so bad that you will never get a chance to see him in a seminar again. I highly recommend that you go see Ted and Jesse.
