Today is Open House at KUNG FU Mind & Body Fitness. We are one of the few places in the entire world where you can receive authentic instruction in Bruce Lees Jeet Kune Do and Jun Fan Gung Fu. We offer realistic self defense training for adults, yoga classes, therapeutic massage and self defense for children. We are a family oriented, Christian based operation. No Eastern religion or mysticism will be practiced or taught in our facility! Everything that we do is based on sound, scientific principles and techniques designed to develop and enhance your mental and physical attributes. Our new sign still has not been put up, but there will still be some great promotion for the school with the car show going on in the parking lot today!
HARDCORE JEET KUNE DO classes have already started. We meet every Monday and Thursday night from 7:30 to 9:00. The fee for training is a flat $100.00 per month. There is an initial membership and registration fee of $50.00. Special discounts are given for multiple family members joining. These classes are adult males and females only, and you must be at least sixteen years of age to participate. This is REAL WORLD self defense! Everything is looked at from a practical standpoint, and all training is geared toward developing the practical skills that are necessary to save yourself and loved ones from life threatening situations. I teach every class personally myself! Come on out today and get signed up if you are not already a member of the class!
The YOGA By NANCY classes at KUNG FU Mind & Body Fitness will be taught by my lovely wife, Nancy, who is a certified YogaFit Instructor. Classes will officially start on Monday, November 2nd at 6:15 in the evening, and will be held every Monday and Thursday evening, with two Saturday classes to be scheduled each month by announcement. The class will run forty-five minutes to an hour, so it will be over between 7:00 and 7:15. The fee will be $50.00 per Month if you pay monthly, with no contract, or $6.00 cash per walk-in session. The monthly fee will cover all classes taught each month. We already have many interested participants! Please come on out today to our Open House between 1:00 and 4:00 and meet Nancy and get signed up!
MASSAGE By CARLA will be starting soon. Carla Egger is a certified massage therapist. She will be giving massages by appointment only. Come on out on today and meet Carla and get a free sample of her massage skills!
We have ironed out the details for the LITTLE DRAGONS children's classes. Starting November 2nd, the 8-11 age group will meet from 4:00 to 4:50. and the 12-15 age group will meet from 5:00 to 6:00. The fees will be either $80.00 per Month (month-to-month), $70.00 per Month (six month contract) or $60.00 per Month (one year contract). There is an initial membership and registration fee of $50.00, which includes your child's gung fu uniform. Michael Rster will teach the children. He has trained with me since 1991, and will do an AWESOME job of working with the kids! Michael will be on hand today to meet parents and help get kids signed up for the class. If you have a child in the age groups shown, please come out to the open house today from 1:00 to 4:00 and get them signed up!
We are located at 1637 Ashville Road, Leeds, AL 35094. It is less than half a mile off I-20 from exit 144. If you are coming from Birmingham, take exit 144-A. If you are coming from Atlanta, you will take exit 144-B. As you start into Leeds, you will pass Lowes and WalMart on the left. Then you will pass Auto Zone on the left. Just past Auto Zone on the left is Advance Auto Parts. Take a left at the light there, then turn right into the shopping center parking lot. We are right next to Rent-A-Center. We hope to see your smiling face this afternoon!
