Iam now training on wing chun in my countery
and questions is:
in the book the tao of gung fu by john little, in the page of (109),there is training program of bruce lee
1- what is the meaning of (hand techniques),(wing chun fist),(freestyle practice)and individual techniques partice?
2- in the wooden dummy training there is part is( training in entering), whats meaning of it?
i want from any one explain me and give me examples about this questions for example hand techniques,wing chun fist.ect
3- whats different between haning bag and sand plate?
i asked this questions in many forums but no answer
i will be very glad when i know the answers

A: He is referring to the training of the hands, both in combinations with other techniques and drilling the techniques alone to develop precision and accuracy.

Q: 2- in the wooden dummy training there is part is( training in entering), whats meaning of it?

A: Entering is explosively closing the gap between yourself and your opponent without getting hit in the process!

A: Hand techniques could be any of the Jun Fan hand strikes, such as:

Chung Chuie - Vertical Fist
Bil Jee - Finger Jab
Qua Chuie - Back Fist
Oou Chuie - Hooking Fist
Ping Chuie - Horizontal Fist
Chop Chuie - Half Knuckle Fist
Jin Chuie - Uppercut Fist

The Wing Chun Fist is the Chung Chuie, or vertical fist punch. The punch is fired like a piston. Impact is with the bottom three knuckles, and the punch is delivered right up the centerline with the elbow down. When delivered as multiple strikes, it becomes Jik Chung Chuie, also known as the straight blast, which is a rapid series of chung chuie strikes fired with overhand rotation on the centerline.

Q: 3- whats different between hanging bag and sand plate?

A: The hanging bag (Wing Chun wall bag) is a square bag that is hung on the wall. It is filled with dried beans, sand, BBs, etc., based on the level of conditioning of the practitioner. The sand plate is a large shallow bowl filled with sand, used for striking and conditioning of the hands.

iam very very glad because i found the right man answer me but excuse me Master davis becuse iam not perfect in english,i understant some terms but some terms Need to explain more and i hope the explaining on youtube or on pictures.
1- can you put here photo or video on youtube show sand plate training?

2- wooden dummy (traing in entering)do you mean in your explain Practice the application of the wooden dummy on opponent ?

3- in hand techniques you means hand strikes, Do not include hand blocking (tan sao,bong sao,ect)?

4- can you tell me some individual techniques pratice and freestyle pratice?
