Okay I tried the steps you said to put a picture on a message, but it didn't work. Does it matter what type of computer you have? Would that be maybe why it didn't work for me? What I typed was:
<img src=picture http://www.equine.com/bin/showhorse.pl?horseid=254879> is that the write thing?

Well, I can't seem to find a picture at the URL you have inside your message. If the picture is the ONLY thing on the page, however, when you put the URL in the middle it aught to work. Other than that, you're doing it perfectly...
