ok peter..as standerd ,when you press and hold the moni buttun it opens the squlch,when you release it you can only receve when the outher is using the same ccts tones as you ..eg 88.5 khz..
with the program you can change this so that you can receve evrey thing on the channal without pressing the buttun [just press once when you swich on] ..pip57
