to crop the poor pup (who was I believe about 9 weeks old)..."

OK, what does that have to do w/ anything?? No vet I ever knew would even consider cropping until after 14 weeks.

And what is wrong w/ leaving the dog natural anyway? Maybe the breeder wanted to let the new owner choose. Some ppl don't want their dog cropped.
