Unfortunately, veterinary "eye exams" do very little to detect vision problems such as near-sightedness, far-sightedness, astigmatism, loss of depth perception, and so on -- in other words, most of the vision defects likely to be found in albinos. So you can get their eyes examined all you like, but that won't tell you much of anything about how well they actually see.
