Here i sat on another Friday night being stood up again, by a blind date. As i stood, to leave i couldn't help, but wonder "wasn't it the girl who stood the guy up?" I asked the same question the next morning as i sat down to breakfast with my two best friends Chloe Lane and Mimi Lockhart. I was stood up again last night ladies sighed Isabella Black as she picked up a menu and whispered " isn't the girl who stands the guy up and not the other way around?" All i know is i was set up on a blind date several years ago and i just took one look at him and ran out the back door said, Chloe Lane as she sipped her morning juice.
Well, i guess I've got my answer sighed Belle as she sipped her, glass of water and whispered the guy took one look at me and ran off. Now Isabella don't you listen, to Chloe said Mimi Lockhart as she elbowed Chloe in the ribs and said you are beautiful and any guy you date will be luck enough to have you in his life.
Meems is right smiled Chloe as she patted Belle on the arm and said i bet you the next guy who walks through that door will be your night knight and shining armor. Just then a handsome, guy by the name of Shawn, Douglas Brady came walking through, the diner and took a seat right across from them. He smiled when he saw, them glancing his way. "What a hunk" said Chloe as she looked over at Belle and said if you aren't going to go over there then i will smiled Chloe as she check out her makeup."You are never going to change" elbowed Mimi as she rolled her eyes at one, of her best friends and looked over at Belle and said "maybe you should go over and talked with him".
She had read, about Shawn Douglas Brady in the local, newspaper he was one of the richest man in the country and she couldn't believe that he was sitting in a place like this when he could afford to buy out any place he wanted. Isabella Black took a deep breathe, before standing up and walking towards the handsome guy "Hi" smiled Belle as she held out her hand "Hi" smiled Shawn Douglas Brady as he stood from the booth and said "sorry but, I've, got to go" said Shawn as he walked out of the diner and down the side walkway. Well that was interesting whispered Belle as she went back to her seat and said he had to leave.
But i couldn't but stare after the handsome, guy and wonder if we would ever met, again."oops ladies I've got to run" said Chloe Lane as she glanced, at her watch then, quickly kissed Mimi and Belle on the cheek before laying some money on the table and walking out the door. I've got to run also Belle said Mimi Lockhart as she left some money on the table and quickly patted Belle on the hand saying "everything will be OK" before standing up and walking out the door.
Sipping the last of her juice Isabella Black stood to leave and after laying some money down Belle walked, out of the diner thinking back to when she first met Chloe and Mimi. She met Chloe nearly 10 years ago when she first arrived in, Salem. Belle was just stepping out of the taxicab when here comes Chloe Lane running up to the cab screaming for it not to leave. Turning towards the cab i say "please wait" as Chloe rushes towards the cab saying a quick "Thank you" and offering her services by giving her a business card. Pocketing the business card Isabella Black picks up her suitcases and walks down the street.
"Uh excuse?" said Mimi Lockhart as she stuck her head the door its gonna downpour at any moment and i would feel alot better if you came inside. looking up at the sky and, saw a dark cloud above her head decided to take this woman upon her offer and go inside of her restaurant.
