Clarke wasn't bad, either.

Since the FLyers joined the league, there's only one team in the NHL with more wins than the Flyers. I think there are only 2 with more Finals appearances.

Do you throw all that out because everything hasn't broken their way to win it all?

And the part you left out - how is this team poised for the future? I don't think you can judge homer until the guys like Richard, Carter, Giroux, JVR, Parent, CAarle, etc. finish developing.

Is Homer the best GM in the league? No, not at all. But he's not even close to the bottom, either. I think he gets ripped here WAY more than deserved.
