The progression continues...

Big tests in a rematch with Buffalo and then NJ. Pass these and maybe some other people will see what has been so good lately.

Problems will come from face-off numbers, playing traps, and recovering dump-ins on the PP. We'll also have to always watch that our third D pair doesn't get trapped against superstars, but that's probably true for any team.

Opponents will have match-up difficulties, vulnerability to quick transition, and getting point shots through.

The Flyers are one of the top teams in the Wales conference, and it just so happens these days that the Patrick Division is the best in it, so that means those teams will feed off each other as the time of season/quality of play dictates.

This team always has to work to succeed. It seems lately like the message is finally, finally, finally getting through, and it coincidentally dates back to Pronger's saying they were lazy in practice and in games.

We'll face the trap so many times this season it'll make us sick. Opponents respect the team's ability more than a lot of fans do, because very few teams will want to run and gun with the Flyers. Beating it is the key to the season. Even the Tankers trap us, as we know.

If they lose to Buf and NJ the wolves come howling again, calling all of the recent play an illusion and grinding their axes for their favorite target's necks. We all await results against these best teams.

Perhaps a Monday birthday win is in order, no?
