We all know this pattern of falling behind and then attempting heroic comebacks doesn't bode well come April 11 and their playoff date with the Tankers.
Their inability to beat either Tampa or the NYR this year (1-8 record against both) is why they start the playoffs on the road against a top team. They simply can't beat Tampa with any consistency because for the 100,000th time, they can't handle a trap effectively. They made Rollie the Goalie, who has an abysmal GAA, look like vintage Jacques Plante.
Now back to the BIG issue today, reports are saying the Breezy got hurt in warmups and that is why he did not look his best last night. He was noticably limping after the game and God help us if he is hurt. If he is, they better rest him until the 11th. The injury black cloud doesn't miss a beat.
