Pens have most of the advantages
More talent. More consistent goalie. More experience. Home ice. Healthy team. Better referees.
Flyers go into this series with half the team never having experienced the NHL playoffs, a bunch of rookies, key injuries, dressing some walking wounded, and a humungous big question mark in goal.
But they just seem to have "it". The rookies have played like vets all year, the team is unflappable, they always seem to be able to dig a little deeper when they need to.
Put that underdog surprise up against Pittsburgh's sense of entitlement, and it's a BIG advantage to the Flyers.
If Bryz doesn't collapse and injuries don't bite, the Flyers should win.
