We have a superstar now too...his name is Giroux

by Sedsey

I don't hear much besides passing comments that they are a good line. I wonder what Jagr will be able to lift up to in the playoffs?

Giroux has showed in every playoff he has played. He has another level. In my mind it comes to a peak when he takes the shots he gets himself open for. He may not be quite the gush of Crysby or Baby Huey yet, but I'd say if not he's damn close.

The pressure is all on the Tankers here. They have all their assets that were either handed to them out of a hat or won through lucky roulette years of tanking that landed on superstar slots instead of stars, and they are pretty much as good as they are going to get right now.

On our side we have a rebuild on the fly and so much young promise that it is very exciting to watch it unfold. They come with a character that just wasn't reliable in the Richards/Carter days and they will give the Tankers all they can handle.

I'm still leery of Bryzgalov and his fractured foot. Bad goals kill. But I feel like the team is never out of it and they have shown real comeback ability.

Flyers in six. I can't wait until the final whistle and the handshakes. Crysby's fat lips will be blubbering away the whole time and I will be dancing a jig while laughing loudly.
