Hartnell says it was a great year. Talbot and Giroux point to the youth and strides made. Some others think along the same lines. I am torn because not much was expected when they were an unknown quantity but it's hard to overlook what they had laying before them and they didn't get it done with a team that had better tools to use than anyone once thought.
Grading them is tough but I grade the Flyers on what they were, what they did and how it all ended and that equals:

Harsh? The East was their's for the taking and they (coaches and players alike) flat "out" failed to adjust, adapt and overcome
