Wellwood brings lighting fast speed but little else, Zac bring attitude and physical play and little else. Zac takes penalties, Wellwood gives up the puck when touched. It is a trade off and one I think the Flyers have to make, it won't make a huge difference but the message the coach is sending will. IT IS TIME TO GET DIRTY BOYS!!! The Flyers have ALLOWED the Devils to dictate the game they have barely touched anyone, game 2 was just disgusting to watch as was large portions of game 3. No one was hitting the Devils no one was getting nasty with the Devils no one was playing PLAYOFF HOCKEY!!! Truth be told we all knew this was coming we just didn't think it would come in the form of the Devils. How many times during the Pissguin series did anyone think "nan they will have to change that in the next rd" or "they won't get away with that in the next rd"? Well it is the next rd and the system the Flyers play can be successful but NOT without the willingness to pay a price. They don't hand out Stanley Cups to just anyone they hand it out to warriors and champions and if the Flyers want to move on they had better start doing just that. If they play like warriors they will win the series if they play the disinterested lethargic game they have so far they will not get out of this rd. What has happened so far is so typical for these Flyers, have some success and then read your own press about how you are the greatest thing since sliced bread and then go on a losing streak. Then at some point after enough losing they decide to work for it again and have more success. When will the losing be enough right now? When it is too late? The major thing this team has going for it is it has character we have seen it several times lets hope we see it tomorrow or it could be too late. The Flyers have the talent do they have the their heads on straight and are they willing to sacrifice their bodies by nailing anything that moves HARD are they ready to leave it on the ice? We'll soon see. Two things for sure is that's what is needed and they have the talent to do it!! Will they!
