Extremely Complex Case

Wow. I'm honored to be the 1st post on the new board. I do not want to take up board space & time with all the details BUT I'll be more than happy to get into them on post if anyone thinks they can help.

My daughter is 8. She's severely autistic, but pretty high functioning, (verbal, language improving all the time) all things considered. She was born with a condition acronymed as SOD which in her case means she's blind & has a hypoplastic (small) nonfunctioning pituitary gland (she takes replacement hormones)and diabetes insipidus (water diabetes)

OK...so...we've done urine amino & organic acids and a comp stool/digestive @ Great Smokies as lastly a hair at Doctor's Data. So far (but there's a lot to go thru) I've not heard of anyone with as high a toxic profile as hers (100%) and her essential metals were bizarre. I faxed it to Dr. Rimland who faxed back that she is "clearly a victim" of heavy metals. Problem is Dr. Cutler (in his papers) & Dr. Holmes (in hers) seem to feel she should be maximally healthy before starting chelation. I absolutely agree, especially given her compromised endocrine status, and her stool test showed severe intestinal dysbiosis. We've got to get that in order prior to chelation.

Here's my question: Prior to chelation, I want to lighten her toxic load as much as possible by making sure she doesn't get any additional exposures to some of theser metals. I'm working on identifying sources of these metals but I cannot for the life of me figure out how she got toxic on bismuth, cadmium, silver, titanium (in addition to aluminum, antimony, lead, mercury, & nickel, whose sources are more obvious). She's never had any chemical processes done on her hair (she's only 8!) Does anyone know of a site that lists sources for these metals? I'm going crazy seeing her this toxic and not being able to do anything! After 6 weeks of Kirkman's best probiotic, she still had NO growth of lactobacillus & escherichia coli (good guys) and pathogenic presence of bacillus species. This has got to be fixed first but meanwhile I 've got to see if I can do something positive for the toxicity!! HELP!!!!!!!
