I don't understand why what the MDFL does is of such concern to you. Especially since you don't seem to be in the league, the quality of teams, what the scores were three years ago, no seems to care but you. If you want to be in the league, apply in January and bring competition with you. If you don't want to do that then chill out, its getting old
