I swear I'd like to string this woman up the nearest flag pole. She was supposed to call yesterday and talk to hubby about the settlement on his accident. She called alright but I 've got to step back for a minute. His accident was on the job, so its worker's comp and the person who caused the accident is paying everything. Hope this makes sense. Anyway she calls him yesterday, I wasn't home at the time and was ripped because she wanted to come to out house and meet with us. She wouldn't meet or discuss anything with him because she wants to run everything through me too.

Anyway she wouldn't let him get a word in edge wise and is now coming out next week to meet with us. Anyhow we got smart last week and decided to call the worker's comp advocate to get advice from them, they told hubby that he definitely needs to get ahold of an attorney who specializes in workers comp and MVA's. We did and have an appointment next week for a consult. We did find out that once he settles with the insurance company it does not close his workers comp claim. But we're still going to shoot for future medical because of him more than likely needing to have that knee replaced down the road.

Now someone explain to me why I need to deal with the stupid adjuster, I wasn't in the ambulance when he had the accident? I'm dealing with my own bull from my accident a year and a half ago.

Sorry I am not much help, but it seems that the insurance adjuster considers you two a unit and is making hoping you won't agree or be in accord with your statements. GOOD to call an attorney though. YOU'RE a smart cookie!
