Hi

I got a phone call from my niece today...she hadnt called me in months or returned my calls...but she asked me to go with her to bingo...i felt guilty deciding to go but good ole mom helped me to go...anyway, our baby sitter who helps us out on saturday nites...well her and her boyfriend were having trouble...i noticed when i was at their palce all they had was a can of corn and a can of beans to eat!!! (they have no doors on their cupboards) I was in shock!!! Her boyfriend was my best friend for 31 years that broke my heart...anyway, we went to bingo and low and behold, we won, we each ended up with $223!!! So, on the way home, i stopped into the grocery store bought some groceries for us...and some for them.

Not a lot but i had to do something...i told mom and of course she went a shopping along with my aunt...and to my knowledge they have enough food for quite awhile...hubby just smiled when i told him what i had done...he knows me, anyway!! LOL

I thought maybe that was a sign, winning after finding out that they were in need...so i tried to spread it around.

I stayed and visited them for awhile, it was nice...was a little worried how they would react to the help...didnt want to embarrass them but i couldnt let them go hungry, got that from my mom. they sure did appreciate it and it gave me a warm feeling.

My head has settled a bit today, only had to take 2 pain pills, thats good for these last week or so.

anyway, just wanted to fill you in as to why i was missing today again...have a great nite and God bless.

Annie you are great....Im glad to hear you won at bingo.That was so thaughtful of you helping someone else.My husband always tells me women we cant be rich youd give all our darn money away.A lady standing in line last week had 4 boys she was buying groceries and was 10.62 short,so she said what should I give back one boy said please mom not the peanut butter it was sad.I didnt want to upset her (some people want no help).I said man heres evelen dollars please take it I would love to help you out.She about dropped over and the people behind me were just a talking.I cant beleive a lady with 4 kids cant buy her groceries and have someone help pay the bill,who are they to sit and judge her.Hope you have a good day pain free would be nice.
