I got a call from Granddaughter. She was just so excited!!! She said that she had to do a test commercial for her test. A new chicken whopper and at the end she said she nailed it with "B K get it" She will know Wen if she get a spot or not. I can hardly wait. Maybe we will see her on Super bowl doing a Burger King commercial. LOL Gosh I can just see her.

On another note prayer service was hard tonight. Tomorrow will be harder I fear. As we bury one Friend another is in the Hospital starting chemo.
He Started this morning and if everything goes ok he will be home Thursday.
Our children grew up together, and we grew up together.
One story sticks out in my mind when I think of this couple. In kindergarten they got caught kissing in the playhouse they were pretending to be married. Their teacher said it would never last!
They just hit 38 years like us. They, I guess you could say were childhood sweethearts.

That's wonderful news about your granddaughter. She must be excited and you must be very proud!

Sorry to hear about your friend starting chemo but that
means there is still hope and maybe a cure.
Services are hard. We will be going to my mother in law's this weekend. She surprised all the doctors by surviving as long as she did with an aneurysm but it was inoperable.

I am praying that this will work but so far we have not kept any adult with leukemia. But there is alway hope

I hope your grandaughter gets the part.Also my prayers are with you all.As the saying goes when it rains it pours.So sad about your friends.
