Today my doctor's office called and wanted to send me to get my eyes checked!! I said I did not have to go anywhere to get my eyes checked because that is what we do in my office! So they decided to refer me to an opthamologist. I have weakness in my right eye since the stroke that followed the MVA. I almost fell out of my chair (bad thing to do you could get hurt falling out of a chair!) my doctor wanted to know what was causing the weakness!!! I said that, geez, could be the stroke you sent me to the neurologist to diagnose??? The one she said she did not know when I had eventhough I went to ER for stroke in November??? I had them so frazzled they finally ordered a carotid ultrasound to check for carotid dissection....although, I doubt they will be able to tell when, as it is, once again....way too late to tell.

What can I say? It seems like we are always being put off untill our injurys can not be judged by the time factor. But I hope this time they will be able to pinpoint it to your MVA.
Next time though wear a seat belt at the docotrs office. You are right about falling out of chairs.
