One glass of water shuts down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University study.
Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.
Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen.
Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast ! cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.
Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?
Ohhhhhhh Ozzie,
You are the greatest!!!!!!!!!! Always finding more and more information to help us. What would I be without you??
Now tell me how are you doing since you have been home? Tell me everything! I bet you miss the youth center. Or are you helping at one there? I really think I need a long email from you!
Hi CAA! I'll post a long one soon! I have volunteered at the local community centre, but it's driving me more insane than I usually am! My health is improving with this island life. In some ways very relaxing, in others so much to do! I'm teaching two little French girls to speak English, for an hour each day - as they can't enrol in school because they are not citizens (they could but the govt would charge them $250 each a week!). And, excitement! EXCITEMENT! I signed up for a block of land yesterday! My kids and I want to put a house on it and sell it to make a profit as the realty business is booming on this island. Must go now. Have a ferry to catch to the mainland to look at a house free for removal. Love & Light!
Ohhhhhhhhhhh Ozzie you sound so excited and full of life!! The island life must be for you!!!! My hubby and a friend are flipping a house in the town north of us. With the new plant comming in house's will be needed. So they are trying their luck. Between the 2 of them they can do everthing that needs to be done. I will look forward to your email!!!
Oh and I am happy that you are still getting to work with the little people.
Too right, Red! I always drink filtered water. Had a filtered chiller when I was in Sydney and now an attachment to the tap which filters all my drinking water. By the time the water gets to our homes, the chlorine and other gunk they put in have kept the bugs at bay - but there's no way I want those chemicals in me! As for mouldy water, Red?!!!!!!!! That sounds disgusting! You definitely need a filter there! Not healthy at all to drink mouldy water! Love & Light!
