Hi All! I haven't posted in a while, been travelling and it has been an effort of late to come to the board because of all the problems here. So, I've stayed away.

Annie emailed me and so I thought I'd check in for a bit again. All I can say is that if any of us have issues with a poster, we all need to not respond. The more energy we give to the poster, the more of a problem there will be.

It's like any behaviour, the more attention we give to a behaviour the more of it we get. If we ignore the behaviour (e.g. kid's whining for something they want), initially we'll get an increase in the behaviour we don't want, but after time it will decrease, and finally cease(they finally realise their whiny behaviour doesn't get a reaction).

This forum has been a lifeline to me. When I first came here I was so low and hurting so much physically and mentally that I had lost all hope for a better future. The support I found here turned my life around and I have been able to share my journey with you and both get and give support.

We all need that support - even those of us who don't realise our behaviours are dysfunctional.

I always try to separate the person from the behaviour. Yes, certain people can annoy the heck out of us because of their behaviour. BUT it is the behaviour that is the problem and the person can change their behaviour. So, I say, hate the behaviour, but love the person! Ignore the behaviour that irks you but continue to love the person and support them to change - pray for them, if that is your wont.

We all have our own issues in life. Those of us here deal with pain and grief on a daily basis and have more challenges than most - less than some. My hope is that we will use what we are learning here, with the challenges that are being presented, to open our hearts more, deal with the dysfunctional behaviour and learn to truly love our neighbours!

Thank you. But my cup runneth over with a person who was making everyone sad. So that was me that said bring it out in to the open and get it over with. And then be done with it. That was me Ozzie. So I am more the just a funny person. I feel too and I truly believed that if the people could vent and get out of their system things would be better. So I take the blame

You truly can't take all the blame. There were alot of words said and it wasn't just you.

It was me also, the words flowed out, its been said and now its done.

So from here we need to move on because tomorrow will be a new and better day.

Any ways ..OUR family stayed true and strong and a few newbies too !
