iJoy chair and ottoman

The pain in my legs has been getting worse. I guess it's from the nerves that are stuck together. I couldn't stand it anymore so I went to buy a massage ottoman and ended up buying a foot model massage chair also. The ottoman really helps the pain in my legs and the chair I'm not so sure of yet.

I can feel the condition in my legs getting worse and it scares me that I just might end up in a wheelchair. I'd had it in my mind that I wasn't going to let that happen but as we all know we really have no control over the progress our conditions take us.

The massage ottoman does seem to help the circulation in my legs and that helps the pain.

I guess I always knew that just because we settle doesn't help where the pain is concerned. It's just not fair that with the end of our cases we still are left with the results of someone elses mistakes.

Sorry I haven't posted lately but it's just so depressing that my condition seems to get worse instead of better. My back is doing better from the last surgery but now this thing with my nerves sticking together brings up a whole other problem.

Hope you are all feeling better with the change in the weather.....other than Oz. Your starting your fall and winter now Oz and I know the cold bothers me A LOT. I hope your doing well too sweetie.

May the warm weather bring you all some relief. It seems to help me until it rains and a cold front moves in.....up and down just like the weather. I wonder if any of us will recover and ever lead normal lives again. If not for me I pray for all of my other friends here that you may find some peace down the road if not now SOON.

I love each and everyone of you. Gentle hugs,
Tammy

Hey Tammy,
Good to hear from you. I hope that new chair works out for you. Sorry you are having trouble with the nerves in your legs. With all the new treatments out there hopefully there will be one that will help you. It does seem that when we get one pain under control our other problems seem to come to the top!!! It is like they are yelling look at me look at me. It gets old but do not let it get you down!!! You just have to remember to take it one day at a time. That is all any of us can do. Try to think only of the good things in your life, like family. And speaking of family how is your Aunt doing???

Hi Tammy ,

I sure hope that chair brings you pain relief and comforts as you continue to use your new chair .

NOT FAIR .. Ihear you loud and clear kiddo ... It is NOT FAIR that we continue on in pain and suffer .. and the idiot who hit us .. continues on like no tomorrow . Not a care in the world . They have NO CLUE !

Depression .. YUCK .. I deal with depression daily and it is a constant battle ... I feel like a yo yo most days .. but we need to continue to fight Tammy .. and find strength to find the pleasure of life we have . For what it is all worth .

Pain is like a swear word to me .. a curse word ..
I'm sorry you are feeling down and in pain .. the pain we all know .. how it takes a toll on our whole self worth

IT STINKS ... IT STINKS IT STINKS ....

Thank God we can come here and talk to those who know what we are going through ..
I wish there was something I could say that would help you feel better honey

Tammy , take one day at a time .. dont look into the future of what may happen with our bodies and what may our lives be like later on .. .. I HATE TO THINK THAT WAY .. and I know you are scared .. but if we ONLY TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME .... it makes somewhat easier to focus on today and let tomorrow comes when it gets here

I know I try to take the easier side out of things .. yet dealing with pain .. IF YOU DONT LAUGH YOU WILL GO CRAZY

Hi Tammy. So glad you have the chair and ottoman. I hope they really help. You are so right. Just because our cases are over doesn't mean our conditions come right. I hope these two purchases help things to improve!

It is just starting to get cold here 24C but I've been feeling cold since coming back from Singapore, where it's 34C every day! It will get a little colder but apparently not much. A bit like living in Miami Warmer weather sure does help!

Love & Light!

I don't know about you Red and Oz but the warmer weather really does help both my moods and my pain.

I had almost a NORMAL day today, can u believe it???? I am so happy whenever one comes since they are so far and few between. I am so tired after all I did today but it's the closest thing to normal I've had in a long long time. The weather is beautiful and I have learned to appreciate it so much since the warmth helps my pain.

I hope everyone is feeling better with the change....sorry Oz. I know the cold really bothers me and I hope your fall and winter give you a break and it's not hard on u.

Going to read your post Oz about your new house.

Love you both. Tammy

Better things are coming

May 23 2007, 5:45 PM

Hi Tammy
I hope things are getting better. Sometimes it's those small things that can improve our well being more then anything. You have to do little things like that because nobody else seems to be able to do as great a job at it as you yourself.

Good info!

May 24 2007, 12:24 PM

WOW! THis is how happy Is... Laughter is the best medicine. Also, I totally freeze all winter long & the warm is GREAT for me. Also, I can predict the rain coming... increased pain means rain...lol. My family calls to ask me if it's going to rain! Too funny! Does anyone else "feel" worse when rain is coming? Also, Annie's husband, you are so right that no one else can do as great a job as yourself! Luv & hugs, Karen

Absolutely Karen....rain and a cold front. The warm weather sure does make a difference. I've told my kids I need to move where the weather is always warm but then what would I do without them?

Gentle hugs, Tammy
