back from a long needed vacation!!!

Hello all! Just got back not that long ago, all by myslef, it was the break I desperately needed! It was sooo quiet and not far from home either! Man guys I almost hit my snapping point! I have never been that upset before!!! My brother actually helps me sometimes with my problems he still aggravates tho, lol.

The last post that I responded to here, I re rea it and didn't recognize myself...i knew I needed to do something!!! Sometimes I get scared of what the future holds, terriffied really! I'm trying to learn to go with the flow, and take things as they come.

So sorry I left so abruptly, but to save my sanity...i had to...so far it worked. Caa you and Red and many others have helped me tremendously, to think that i am so lucky and yet blind to see what I DO HAVE!

To the wonderful lady who sent my beautiful boys postcards and toys from Alaska, thank you so much!!! They loved those! I brought the boys train whistles like that at the dollarstore but they never worked, they ecstatic when these worked! Older boy ran next door to my parents and showed them the gifties, they even thought it was fantastic!

Older boy, choppee, he is the creative one, well, he buys little wooden models at the dollar store and sells them roadside with my mom, he's making a killing!!! Yesterday he made $31! He's saving for a bigger bicycle, but he cant stop buying lego creator sets LOL! He's made about $150 in about 10 days of selling, he looks all over the place for deals then resells it, he's an 11 year old genius, his birthday is in a few weeks I think I'll buy him some more models to resell...he's actually learning how to run a business, I taught him how to take a wage, leave so much to replenish his business, to keep some capital, it's hilarious to hear him talk about his money...hes got it all based on percentages now...I just figured if I could learn him these things now, God only knows what he could do with his life in the future...next I'll get him to work on his own bank account.

Anyway, sorry for rambling just love my boys, little guy is doing better, school wants me to tkae him for an assessment, they think he may have a touch of autism, which may explain some of his moods, he also may have trouble with ADHD! At least they are taking me seriously now. I'm finally geting in to see the dr I wanted to for about a year now, I see her on Tuesday, keep your fingers crossed. Pain has been the same but at least on my own I can control it better...one piece of bad news, my wonderful caseworker no longer with my lawyer's law firm, very sad, he's getting back to me when he finds a replacement, so sad!

Time to hit the road, little guy has swimming lessons soon, love you guys.

from a very rested annie!

So good to hear from you Annie. Glad to hear that you were able to take a vacation and recharge your batteries. I hope that your brother is still on the road to recovery. I am happy that you are feeling better.

Annie,

I am soooo happy that you got some time for yourself so you could "recharge"!!!! We all need the "calgon take me away" time. Coming back home is always good after your break from it. Maybe chopper will be the next Bill Gates ??!! I hope that your youngest gets a proper diagnosis then you will know how to deal with him better and so will his school teachers.
Good luck with you dr. appt. on tuesday. Keep us posted.

Take Care,

Pam

Sounds like you were able too recharge - a blessing for all of you. a happy Mom makes for a happy home!

I am glad the boys liked the things from Alaska! Mine loved the "bear claws" LOL Did your boys take the rings outside? They change color in the sun. My daughters have some nail polish like that - too fun.

Your son is going to have a great summer - who would have thought models would sell that well? How great is that? Next he can add pop - buy it on sale by the case then sell it by the can. My kids make a lot doing that during garage sales! A bucket filled with ice making sure the pop is COLD on hot days makes them disappear fast! We got them for $2 a case and they sold them for 50 cents a can - making $4 on their first case. My daughter sees how fast they sold 12 cans and ups the price to .75 a can raising their profit to $7.00 a case! LOL They sold 14 cases worth at the two day YMCA sale!! We were lucky it was so hot LOL

Thanks, CAA Pam and Sky

It was nice to recharge! A happy mom makes a happy home, so true, lol. Right now we are busy running around doing nothing, hubby is still on vacation, too wet for camping for them.

Yes sky they did take the rings outdoors, choppee took them his outside, it freaked him out, I think he said the rings change in total darkness too...dont understand that tho, lol.

He also sells lemonade, he makes a killing there, mom buys it he sells it for about 50 a cup, he usually makes 25 bucks on the weekends, mom and my aunt had to buy him a bigger table, he's branching out, lol. Actually, sky he would like to know if you have any favorites choppee wants to send you a model he makes, he calls those his specialty, lol. He makes boats, butterflies, dollhouse furniture, dinosaurs, frogs, bees, houses cars, dumptrucks all kinds of stuff.

Before I forget CAA, I dont know if you remember but you gave me some advice about facing my DEMON...did that, brother was with me, didnt have to say a word, just stared him down and brother was right beside him waiting for him to say boo...he cowered like a little old man and walked away...JUST STARING HIM DOWN FELT LIKE A HUGE WIEGHT WAS LIFTED! thank you dear friend so much!!!

Anyway, gotta go, swimming lesson for boober butt, yes even in the rain...talk later.

luv
annie

Oh Annie, that is so sweet! We should have the kids write back and forth - Canada and US pen pals! Madison collects frogs (and she is my girly girl too!) and so a frog would be loved! That is just the kindest gesture!

Do we ever get through all the swim lessons? All four of mine started as babies and they go all the way to lifeguard classes at 12! Jezz, that is a lot of lessons!!! I teach a photography class during their summer program as well as a couple of Saturday workshops for kids and parents together - making a bat box, cooking healthy snacks together etc. in exchange for all of their lessons. It works out great as I really like teaching the classes and I know the kids will benefit from the lessons.

Off to move the sprinkler -

Sky

Hey Annie ... I was wondering where you have been ?
I can see we have the Annie back we know ..
Kind , funny , smart and most of all a very DEAR TRUE FRIEND you are , to me and many on this forum ....
Any time you post Annie .. you brighten my day

Annie .. as we share our ups and downs of pain and suffering ... we only hope to be treated fairly by our insurance companies and lawyers ! And the whole process of searching for answers .... and comfort ... KNOWING WE ARE NOT ALONE !

With out all the added stresses they throw at us with denials of treatments ..... and next we find our selves deeply searching for help and its not there for us.... ?

I know all too well how depression sneaks up on us all and next we begin to slide and it feels as if all is lost .

And then there is HOPE my friend

Always hang on til the next day
its never as bleak as in the moment of time.
as in today

Oh and Annie ... brothers can be a pain in the side at times .. I know .. I have five brothers ... LOL ... all with there own unique qualities ... .. You have to love them all.
I'm sure we can be a pain in there back sides too LOL

Choppee ... amazes me ... at such a very young age and already his mind is thinking $$$$ ... thats a gift Annie ... it shows ... he is not lazy and he is always thinking how to double his money !!!!
You should be proud Momma .... you have raised an intelligent child .. !
A GO GETTER !
I wish him success in his business 's and give him a hug and tell him his Crazy Auntie Reddy is proud of him .
Tell Choppee .. a little tip ......... never to be discouraged .. should his sales have a slow day .. tell him thats businness .. one day sales are up . ( PROFIT ) . the next day sales are down .. BRAKE EVEN ! Tell him the profit days will make up for the slow days of sales .
Mind you .. I'm probally not telling Choppee .. any thing he doesnt already know already

The little guy is doing much better in school ! BRAVO ! .. tell him I am very proud of him too Annie .. give him a hug for me.
Thank goodness Annie .. the doctor s are going to assess him ... Hopefully all turns out ok and he is just an over active child full of energy

Tell Hubby we will wish away the rain for you all .. so you can go camping .. if you are not already

Your lawyer should have a casemanager for you with in a week or so . if he is on the ball .
Hopefully a rehab casemanager to help you receive the necessary help you need with PAIN .
To be able to manage pain .... would be a GOD SEND ! ( recieve )
dont mind me .. confused with spelling .... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm i before e except after c .. but in a few cases this is not true ... hmmmmmmmm I believe I should go with my first instinct ... ?

Hey Annie it is good to have you back !
Rested recharged and refreshed

Enjoy Kiddo

Family keeps us going !

Gentle Hugs

I think of you all often ... and very glad you are posting .
