Where are you guys?

Its been awhile since I've seen you post.

Just wanted to make sure everything is alright.

I am still around just have had a houseful of grandchildren. 2 went home sunday and the last 3 go home soon. I have been making memories, something that hopefully when they look back on, in years to come they will remember all the fun they had in the summers at gram-ma's house. And they will pass on the special summers to their grandchildren.
I have my memories of my summers at Gram-ma's house and they were very special to me. And Grandparents are important in a childs life.
So how is everyone doing this summer???
The uped doseage of pain meds has helped me make it this far this summer, there is nothing worse then a mean grandma!!!
I hope that everyone got to make some memories this summer to help them make it through the soon to arrive winter.
Now I must run ( Ha Ha) the 2 year old wants me to sit with him while he wakes up.

Wow, sounds like your having a great time CAA.

I remember you saying that you were going to have the grandbabies, I just couldn't remember for how long.

Memories are wonderful. I can remember alot of wonderful times that I had with my grandmother when i was growing up.

I think you've told me before but how old are all the grandbabies?

Sorry that it has taken me so long to answer you.
LOL I seem to have lost most of my memory this summer.(Son's)
My oldest Grandson is 15, the next is 13, and their
baby brother is 2. (Daugther's) Granddaughter 9 and Grandson
5. So it is quite a nice run of ages, 2 to 15!!!! And they
all seem to get along so well!!! Thank God. The oldest
grandson is so good about keeping them busy with minibike rides
and trips to the park. And the girls busy doing girls things.
We make alot of jewelry for them to wear to school. And the fair
it the main thing that we do. And they love it. That takes up thur,
friday, sat, and sunday wraps it up. Then we have girls nite out
with Papa, where they take Papa to the mall in the city to shop!
Followed by going somewhere special for dinner. This is their
alone time with Papa so, they really enjoy it. Boys nite out
is not quite as exciting. The boys like to go to eat at a
little place that has lots of games to play!!! And the oldest
grandson is just happy to be able to drive the GTO with Papa. I
think that they are all enjoying theirselves while they are here.
At least I would like to believe that they are. And now there
will be School shopping, then packing to go home. Another summer
comming to a close. It all goes to fast.

So glad to hear you have a house full of your grandchildren. How do you do it? I have to take mine one or maybe 2 at a time. I guess it helps that most are alittle older except of course the 2 and 5 yr olds.

You said they get along good with each other; your daughter should be commended for doing such a great job in raising them to love each other.

Glad you are making memories for your grandkids to remember the good times by. What a great idea. I do scrapbooking now. Picked it up again when I had my surgery and was bedridden for a couple weeks. I did some mosaics and cards and put in pictures of me and my grandchildren. It's getting really full so may have to do another soon.
