I'm back!

Hi All! I've missed you!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't been on the net for so long, but finally have a new 'puter! Been really busy with the new house. Haven't moved in yet, hopefully this coming week. Still won't be finished but will be liveable. Hope to get power this week - we've been making do with two power outlets and lots of cable & powerboards.

Ex- husband came over from New Zealand for 3 weeks. While I am greatful for what he did, sometimes you get confirmation that decisions you made years ago were the right ones - so glad I left him, he's not changed at all! We had to hire a scaffold to put in the lounge room so the boys could line the ceiling - it rises 20 ft (6.1 metres) from the floor. The hard part is done & scaffold sent back so young son will come and finish the remainder( which is easily accessible) this week (he's been here too, but his work paid for him to fly back to Sydney, for a few days, for a meeting). My neighbour has been helping out for a nominal fee, too, - salt of the earth kind of people next door!

I do love it on the island, despite finding a few bad apples here - had the plumber from hell who I've refused to pay & had to have his work re-done. Auditioned for a play and found I'd got on the wrong side of a clique, but never mind, I'm going to help start a new drama group! He he!

AND, Guess What!!!! I applied for a job this week! I am feeling so much better! I still praise magnesium for that, as when I don't take it I suffer, and my MBT shoes! Took my shoes off for just one day while I varnished the ceiling boards, and wore my ordinary sneakers - couldn't do much for 2 days! So much pain, everywhere! Wore my MBT sandals to a dance last night & danced more than I've been able to in the previous 5 years! Love MBT & they're not coming off again!

My daughter Rachel is in Alsaska! Flew there last Wednesday via Vancouver to meet her partner who sailed the newly refitted oil rig ship there from Singapore. They've got a whole month there exploring the place & down to Canada.

This will be a busy week but hopefully I can get on line again soon. Love to all! Love & Light!

Oz my dear friend it's good to hear from u. It so exciting what your doing with your new home. I'm so glad ur feeling well enough cause I know it takes a lot of work making a house a home and especially with all u had to do.

Keep us informed cause it's interesting...I love seeing u do all of it in my mind.

Wish I could help...just jump in my car. Now that you've gotten a new PC u can take and send me some pics when you have time. U need to take before and after pics and over the years you'll never forget the things you did and how hard u worked.

Love and gentle hugs. Tammy

Hi Oz
Sounds like you have things well under control. That little slice of Heaven will get done when it gets done. Don't try to rush it 'cause things have a tendency to go wrong when you do. Tammy's right. We want to see the before and after pics.
Hopefully the job is something you really like to do and not something you have to do. We all want to work or do something like we used to do but don't push yourself into something your not going to like doing. We're behind you 100% and more. Although, you have enough confidence for us all. Way to go! When it comes to the ex, he may not have changed but it sees like his heart was in the right place. He did at least try to help out.
When your daughter gets to Canada, tell her a family of Canuks said “Welcome to Canada, eh!” Hope she enjoys the trip. Annie and the boys are doing well. Annie still has a few health issues but they are getting worked on. It’s a lot better then it was. When she thinks about her family here it gives her a boost. I have to go. It Choppee’s birthday today and we are taking him and a friend of his to the movies. I be checking in! Take care.

Oz,
So happy to see you here. Sounds like you are still working hard on your house. But it won't be long and you will be all settled and this will be just a memory.
Glad to hear that you have been feeling better. Sounds like your shoes are god sent. It is so great when something really does help!!!
Now that you have a new puter, you will be able to show us your home and all that it took to get it livable.
Must run Oz, keep me posted please

Hey Oz, glad to hear things are going good for you!!

I've looked at MBT sneakers and wondered if they were worth the price; looks like the sandals were for you. The saleslady told me that you can only wear them for a short period of time when you first start out (it wakes up unused muscles).
About the magnesium; I've read that it can be very helpful. How are you taking it; by supplements? If so, what brand do you use?

Good luck with the job and drama group!

Paul
