Well, he's pulled thru except for one thing, he can't get rid of his hiccups! He's eating a bit better but the hiccups are with him about 13 hours out of the 15 hours he is awake...we've tried several home remedies...sugar, breathing into a paper bag, deep breathing, tablespoon of peanut butter...any other suggestions would be great?

Does anyone have or had this problem before?

thanks a million for the prayers, keep'em coming!

Hey Annie .. .its great news Dad is doing better

Yah know Annie .. there was a lot of coverage on this young girl who had the hiccups daily for weeks on end and people from all over the world sent her emails and letters and phone calls to help her with her hiccups ... and then all of a sudden they stopped .. one morning she woke up and she was not hiccupping .... nothing seemed to work for her .. and she tried every thing .

You could say to Dad ... Hey Dad if you stop hiccupping , I will give you twenty bucks . $

Hold breath and plug nose for a minute . ?

Thanks Annie for the update ... tell Dad we are rooting for him.

Gentle Hugs

Couldnt resist Annie

Persistent or intractable hiccups are more common in men than in women and tend to occur during adulthood. Charles Osborne, who hiccuped for 68 years (1922-1990), earned the Guinness Book of World Records title for Longest Hiccup Attack.

A Florida teenager named Jennifer Mee hiccuped for five long weeks in 2007 only to have them return a few weeks later (she is hiccup-free as of this posting).

Another Florida resident, Jaime Molisee, hiccuped for more than eight months.

Hopefully Annie .. Dad will be finished with hiccups today
Hiccups are soooooooooooo annoying to have them and have to listen to them !

Sheesh

Glad to hear from you!
Ahhhhhhhhh Hiccups!! Now there
is something that can really be a
big pain in the bottom!!!
Annie, when we got them my Dad
would look at us and say did you just
hiccup?? Well do it again I did not
hear you and he would keeps this up
untill we just could not get a hiccup
to come out anymore. I do not know
why his demanding for us to prove we
had the hiccups made them go away but
it did.
Hope that he gets rid of them soon
