Just wanted to ask for anyone's help with Social Security Disability and filing an appeal at the last stage which is at the District Court? Has anyone had to go that far? I have a wonderful attorney at Legal Aid helping more than anyone file the paperwork and for no charge. He called me the other day and talked to me on the phone for 40 minutes and answered a lot of my questions.
So here is my dilema, I need to work to pay the bills but I am told the judge will view this as not meeting disability requirements. I thought the guidelines were as long as you were disabled for a year and now its going on 6 years. Does anyone have an insight on this?
Well, I have to try to remain positive so I am trying but its hard at times as you all know. Living with pain and dealing with the process for any benefits is a nightmare. Hope everyone had a great weekend with nice weather! I was lucky to attend my first granddaughter's christening Sunday so I am fortunate. I never knew what people meant when they talked about having grandchildren until now!
