| Let me start by saying thanks for the enormous support you have given Steve and I this season. I know you have taken bullet after bullet for us. You run a great trail and put a lot of hard work into it. I just wish you would'nt have to deal with all the B.S. phone calls you are getting. Just keep doing what you are doing and don't let it get to you.
Thanks again and can't wait to get out fishing with you and share a little info. We need more stand up no B.S. guys like you in the world. |

Keep up the good work. The trail is great with big turnouts. None of these cry babies make a world of difference. You are the great organizer and the great communicator.

Rodd , Like I said You and Steve put in the time and know the patterns and key locations to get your fish , you stand tall
with the likes of D. Brown , Skip and Hank , Pate and McKay , D. Harris , Luke and many more great glades
fishermen. Any one of the top 20 boats in a classic event had a shot at a huge bag and they all caught nice fish ! Yes
your 9.42lber separated you from the pack but to me it was no surprise with the fish I seen hanging out along the ledges there
was plenty of chance for everyone to get that big bite. And like I also said with everyone throwing spooks and jigs you made the
right changes in baits to add to the bite that was known by all the top teams and that I give you and Steve credit for. If you guys were
doing funny things than why ? why ? why were you and Steve not in the classic last year when you didn't make the top 4 and everyone
else was there. I am glad you like my trail , I hope everyone does and I treat you NO different than any other fishermen out there. My Trail Members
Jack Huggins and Big Al and Dave LOVE the sport and teams like you make us happy when you bring in them big bags , it shows that with a
lot of pre fishing you can get the job done. All the people talking crap are all great fishermen , it just wasn't there day , It was yours and Steve
and you should be able to cherish this moment in time for the rest of your life's , that you have proven you can win the big one in everyone's
back yards , not at the lake , not at ida , not at Toho , BUT RIGHT HERE in the glades. I hope you had a great time with the article in fri paper ,
it's on my wall right next to Hank and Skip. It takes one person one second to talk crap , but I can sit here for hours saying the good things you
guys have done in winning a few of the tournaments this year. I have some pics and small video clips I can e-mail you . shoot me a e-mail at lendlm@bellsouth.net
and ill send you them. I bet everyone is happy that next years classic will not be at Holiday !!! Thanks Rodd for fishing and thanks to all for fishing.
The King Of The Glades 3 will be bigger and better and there will be rule changes to ease everyone's worries :].When a group of South Florida
Fishermen asked me to start a legitimate trail down here , I agreed to do so , so that the Glades would be recognized for what it should be
a top tournament location and great fishery for all to enjoy.......Bottom Line Mike

Marv the qualifying rounds will be at Holiday , because of the size of the turn outs but the Classic location rotates between many places and since it was at Holiday this year , it will not be at Holiday next year.........BLM
Have you seen C-14 back canals this low before ? at least 3 feet down behing my house ! |

We I guess we should all write the our congressmen and tell them what we think. Mike, you should call up Waters and see if you can get something in the paper. You can speak on behalf of your trail and also for me, the IKESTER!

Thanks again Mike, those were some nice words to Steve and I and everyone that fished. As for that 9.42lb hog, anyone who flips a bait of any kind into the right hole at the right time can get lucky. Took me four years of spookin and flippin to get one over 7.6lbs. I'm glad you got to check that box "yes" on the waiver. Can't wait until next year. At least Steve and I will save some money on K.O.G.III entry fees. | |
