The S.a.f.e.r team has done a great Job , and with a little more support
from all of us we can keep the glades open for all of us and are kids to
enjoy. From what I hear the fight to save the canals is far from over but if
everyone bands together we will have a better shot. The fishing in the canals is off the chain , a buddy of mine fished today and caught 8 bass over 5lbs in a 100 yard stretch , think about the 1000s of big fish there are in the canals right now and the impact of dumping tons of dirt would do to this great fishery ? it would take years to recover and a air boat to reach them once they do. Safer has done there part and we support them but lets all try and save this place.........................BLM |

Thanks guys for the kind words!!! Chris Horton does a great job for us. He really enjoyed fishing the tournament. We will know on June 14th if we got the permits to build the pavilion so keep your fingers crossed!!! Also, the firm that is doing the study on Broward County taking over the operation of Holiday Park has contacted Chris Horton and me and we will be included in any public input as to the operation. Thanks again for your support, Rick Persson, S.A.F.E.R., Inc |
