Why does Canal Rats always have it's tourney on the same day as the Xtreme tourney? You are not getting all the teams that could fish your event. I would fish every one of your events if there was not a conflict.

This event is put on by a local bass club...all saturday dates are looked at and the best, most open one is picked. Luke (Night Owls) has his one weekend that only leaves three to choose from...our club fishes another so now were down to two.
Not a real big choice...

lonnie, mark waits around until the extreme guys weigh in so they can register and fish our tourny. i know it is an hour later, but the option is still there. with so many tournys out of the park, it is tough to find a good date. i used to fish lukes tournys, but they happen to fall on the night prior to our club tourny.

besides last I check the s.f.b.c was here first and they should change there dates if there not happy with ours.

Cracker -you and Mark put on a class act and are doing a great job with your opens
as does the other open trails. It's hard to balance the dates when there is a tourney every weekend on top of the club stuff. It was nice of you to extend the sign in time for the other teams fishing the a.m. trail, not everyone is willing to sit out there an extra hour to do this.

I think the new concept is absolutely great from 2pm till 10 pm. I only asked the question because i already had a commitment with my partner to fish the extreme before i heard about this one. I would have liked to fish both, but safe light till 10 pm is a little too much. I appreciate that you guys are holding this tournament monthly and hope you continue to do so. As soon as the xtreme trail is over i will start fishing this one. If this one happens to not fall on the same day then i will see you guys out there. The question was not meant to sound critical of anyones reasoning for how they picked the dates. i just wanted to ask because i would like to fish all the tourneys i can.

I meant no harm Lonnie , but this is getting crazy , I have had 3- tournament directors ask me for my King Of The Glades 3 2008 dates and its only been a few weeks since the trail ended. 2008 isnt even on my mind yet ! Crazy -2008 is going to be packed with opens again...........BLM
