Fished the canals in South Miami on Thursday from 9am to 2pm. Bite was great all day using little glass minnows. Ended up catching about 30 little guys biggest 2 pounds. Hotter than all heck though!

Snapper Creek?

Anybody been there lately?
Last time I went Peacock fishing was July '05. Went to Blue Lagoon and was shocked at how poor the fishing was. There was virtually no grass in the lake. I went to the canals and had very limited success. All artificial which may have made a difference.

How about Snake Creek? Any news out of there lately?

It's that time of year to catch these scrappers in numbers. Give me some good news and I'll have a reason to get the boat wet.

27 south to Le June Rd, then south to NW 7th St, then west s few blocks. I don't remember the street name but it is hard to miss, keep looking on the right. It is not a big parking lot so go early if you go on a weekend.
